-
We are currently only able to offer transportation for small to medium-sized dogs, cats, and small animals such as rabbits, birds, and reptiles. If you’re unsure whether your pet qualifies, feel free to contact us!
-
Yes! We’re happy to stay with your pet if requested, and time spent waiting is billed accordingly. Clients must speak with their veterinarian’s office to add Zoomies as an authorized person for their pet(s). You must also remain available by phone during the appointment to speak with the veterinarian if needed. Most vets require the client’s verbal permission to authorize care decisions.
-
Not necessarily! Many clients schedule transport while they’re at work or out of town. If we’ve already had a Meet & Greet, you’ll just need to ensure your pet is ready to go, that you’ve left transport equipment (leash, carrier, etc.) in a clear location, home access is arranged, and that your vet or service provider has your authorization on file for us to bring your pet.
-
As Zoomies typically operates on a time block schedule, when booking through the client portal, you will only be able to choose a general time frame (Morning, Midday, Afternoon, Evening). Simply leave a note regarding specific time requests in the provided box on the booking form—please be sure to note pickup time and the actual appointment time!
We will do our best to accommodate requests based on availability. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will let you know. Transport is not considered reserved until confirmed by us.
-
Yes. For medical-related transport, it is the client’s responsibility to inform the veterinarian that Zoomies will be bringing the pet. Many vets require that the client:
Adds us as an authorized person
Keeps a credit card on file
Is reachable by phone for treatment decisions
